20 terraces for dinner in Paris
Summer has finally showed up and everyone is rushing to their phones to book a table outside for dinner. There are a lot of options in Paris, from small terraces in little courtyards to long lines of tables on the sidewalks of the city. Here is a selection of some of my favorite spots for summer outdoor dinners :
Loulou
In the middle of the incredible location that is the Jardin des Tuileries, with the view of the Eiffel tower from afar, a nice Italian restaurant.
Truffle pizza, pistacchio pasta, burrata, delicious deserts…

Waknine
A wonderful place to have diner in Paris, especially during summer when the terrace tables are dressed. French cuisine, with the friendliest staff and cosy atmosphere. The menu changes regularly so you’ll never get bored of coming.

The typical french brasserie from the decoration, the outfits of the waiters, to the dishes served. In a small street in Paris, close to the Quais, this charming restaurant for a quiet diner with good french cuisine.

Monsieur bleu
A well-known restaurant up the stairs of the Palais de Tokyo, with a big beautiful terrace facing the Eiffel Tower. A chic place to have diner and enjoy the view.

Italian bistro opened since 1978 , serving delicious dishes. The decoration is simple and typical. They receive fresh products directly from Italy several times a week.

With a decoration inspired by the 30s and contemporary seafood cuisine this restaurant has a terrace with one of the best views of Paris. Fine cuisine, a chic ambiance and a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower.

This new restaurant opened last month on the rooftop of the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. The chef Julien Sebbag, already proved his talents with the restaurant Chez Oim. Créatures serves vegetarian dishes on a beautiful rooftop overlooking the entire city of Paris.
Eggplants, tomato salad, asparagus, fruits…
Come early to avoid big waiting lines.
Corso
There are a few Corso restaurants in Paris, the one Avenue Kléber has a little terrace where you can enjoy the last rays of sun while drinking wine. They serve Italian-French dishes.
The fried calamari, burrata, boscaiola penne, the burger, grilled eggplants, chocolate cake…

A nice Italian restaurant with a modern decoration. They serve good food and have a lovely terrace with a few plants to create an intimate setting.

One of the biggest terraces you’ll find in Paris, with several rows of table facing the big Place de L’Ecole Militaire. The Tourville is good for dinner or to grab drinks with friends, as it is open till 2AM.

In September, Froufrou in the Edouard VII theater. It’s a chic and well-decorated restaurant. They serve delicious recipes from the Colombian chef Juan Arbelaez and have a superb terrace in a courtyard.

The owners of Les Marches also have the restaurant Le Paris 16, in the sixteenth arrondissement. They serve Italian dishes and have the friendliest service. It is always packed with clients that enjoy the cuisine and the setting of this institution that opened in 1984.
The milanese with spaghetti, the boscaiola penne, the parma, bruschettas, shrimp linguine…
gilberte
Gilberte opened a week ago in the Rue de Seine, in the heart of Saint-Germain. The restaurant may be new but the cuisine is already on point and the dishes are delicious. Owned by the same people that have Huguette, just a few numbers to the left in the same street, Gilberte’s specialty is poultry. The terrace is very nice, with wild ivy growing on the wooden structure.

This restaurant is also new, an addition to Paris Society group’s list of places in Paris. Inside the Palais Garnier and with a beautiful terrace, giving you a spectacular view of one of the most famous location in the city.
